Why include registrars that do not support Fast Track, when this will inevitably lead to a failed transfer flow if the selected registrar does not support the feature?Punktum dk explained that Fast Track is an optional feature and that registrants should have free choice of registrar. The intention is to remain neutral and treat all registrars equally rather than favouring registrars that have implemented Fast Track.Punktum dk will review whether additional filtering of the registrar list could improve the user experience without compromising neutrality.
Have you considered that there will be registrars on the registrar list, that don't accept direct customers (whole sale), and isn't it stupid displaying them in the list?

Punktum dk confirmed that registrars operating through resellers may be displayed, as the relationship exists with the registrar rather than individual resellers. Participants raised concerns that this could create confusion if registrants are directed to providers that cannot serve them directly.

Punktum dk acknowledged the concern and noted that this issue had not previously been identified as a potential problem.

 

Punktum dk will review how reseller-based and wholesale registrars are presented in the registrar list.

It was clarified that communications will be directed towards registrants considered part of a registrar’s portfolio, such as registrants where the registrar is registered as nameserver contact, payer og proxy, but who are not yet under registrar management.Punktum dk will provide further details on campaign criteria and target groups.

It will look the same, the company name will appear in name field.

A question was raced that an outstanding invoice for a domain that has not yet expired should not be a reason to block a transfer.

Presumably, if auto-renewal is enabled, the renewal fee would simply be charged to the gaining registrar's prepaid account upon completion of the transfer. Preventing the transfer due to an unpaid invoice seems unnecessary as long as the domain remains active and has not expired.

 

Preventing an invoice from being paid would require a major system update in Punktum dk's system and will therefore not be implemented. Registrants must pay any outstanding amounts through the self-service portal before transferring a domain to reseller management.
Could you elaborate on the magic link functionality?The Magic Link functionality was clarified as a one-time login link sent to the registrant's registered email address, providing direct access to the transfer page for the relevant domain. The functionality is independent of Fast Track.No action required

I think you should reconsider the list. E.g. I would expect you get a lot of support requests from users picking a company on the list and then failing in next step before even going to the registrar website. Why not just use the opt-in model?

 

It was suggested that registrars should actively choose whether they want to appear on the registrar list. This would avoid directing registrants to registrars that do not wish to receive direct customer referrals or only operate through resellers.

Punktum dk will investigate an opt-in model for registrar visibility, similar to the existing referral program.

Punktum dk will evaluate whether participation in the registrar list should require active sign-up by registrars.

Are you going to show some prices for renewal on the registrar selection list?Yes. Renewal prices incl. VAT will be displayed and maintained by registrars through the registrar settings in the registrar portal.
