What does NIS2 mean for companies with .dk domains?

What does Punktum dk do, and what does it mean for your business and your .dk-domain?

As part of the new NIS2 law, we are obligated to increase transparency and protect ourselves and you even better . This means that we are now implementing new measures that will affect you who have a domain name with us.

Published email addresses must not contain personal information

Punktum dk works to ensure correct data and comply with NIS2 requirements. Companies will therefore receive emails with information that, due to the new requirements, they must check and possibly change their email address so that it does not contain any personal data. This, because we are obligated to show email addresses belonging to businesses in our public WHOIS database.

Punktum dk does not send this information to companies registered with us as sole proprietorships.

Do you have any questions?

Keep an eye on your inbox – information will come directly from Punktum dk or from your registrar if they manage your domain name.

  • If you have chosen your registrar to handle your contact information, you can contact them for help.
  • If you handle your information yourself, you can log in to Punktum dk's self-service to check your information.

Remember: These changes only apply to companies. Private individuals' and sole proprietorships email addresses will not be published.
