DIFO sets the political and strategic framework for the administration of the .dk domain names, while Punktum dk is responsible for the day-to-day operations.
DIFO and Punktum dk have the same management and board of directors, but separate accounts. The association's members and board represent private and professional internet users as well as Danish internet suppliers.
It is therefore 'the Danish internet community' which manages .dk and has done so since DIFO was established in 1999.
